Sobre o nosso cliente Our client is a multinational Pharmaceutical Company looking to hire a Medical Information Specialist to cover a maternity leave with long-term duration. Descrição Within the Medical Department your main responsibilities will be: Operational management of the MI service in Portugal.Responding to unsolicited enquiries from customers on Roche medicines and services, including both on and off-label enquiries. Ensuring integrity and scientific accuracy of the MI responses as well as copyright clearance of relevant sources.Ensuring that all enquiries related to designated medicines and services received from all sources e.g. via phone; e-mail; letter; fax; face to face are dealt with to the required standard and in a timely fashion.Coordinating the daily management of Medical Information queries and collaborating with relevant local and global subject matter experts when preparing the responses.Function as the primary local contact point for global Ml on operational aspects to ensure relevant information is conveyed between affiliate and global.Assists with the creation and maintenance of the product knowledge database used in responding to medical questions related to company products. Works interactively with Clinical Research, Sales and Marketing, Access, Quality, Regulatory, and other relevant personnel to obtain necessary information and to inform other personnel of new issues which may arise.Providing necessary reports to relevant personnel and training and relevant third party personnel in Medical Information.Developing knowledge on allocated products and maintaining a current understanding on new developments in assigned therapy area(s).Responsibility for MI query reconciliations (on adverse event and product complaint reporting) in collaboration with the Local Safety staff, Quality and Drug Regulatory Affairs.Act as the Quality Check Responsible (QCR) for MI queries in MI atlas in line with global minimum standards.Take personal responsibility for maintaining high ethical standards and operating in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry codes, the Group's Code of Conduct and internal policies and SOPsEnsure business continuity and collaborates with line management, cross-country network on resource activities to ensure appropriate prioritisation and resource allocation to deliver key focus areas and outcomesPull in expertise and resources locally and from the MI network as needed; and likewise, flow to high priority work and contribute expertise to co-create solutions as well as unlock possibilities for patients and stakeholders through MIDrive continuous improvement of local MI capabilities, including the development of local MI Digital & Customer Engagement strategy that drives timely and comprehensive answers to customer queries. Perfil ideal The ideal candidate will have:Health Care Professional (medicine, nurse, pharmacy or pharmaceutical science degree) or with a degree in life sciences, biology or equivalent.Experience in other medical functions (e.g. Medical Information, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Safety) is considered advantageous (at least 1-3 years).Good knowledge and understanding of new molecules / new therapeutic areas, digital health, data and insightsUnderstanding of local laws, regulations, codes of practice, pharmacovigilance and healthcare complianceMedical terminology in English - verbal and writtenFluency in English, written and verbal. Local language fluency mandatoryGood understanding of other functions & pharma business, drug development, market access and marketing, and ability to work cross-functionally as well as navigate through complexityCustomer centric mindset with a good understanding of patient journey(s), health systems and related Roche products/integrated healthcare solutionsDigital mindset as second nature to communicate, and to utilise resources and expertise from the network to fulfil local needsAbility to contribute to the network with co-creation of solutions and share experiences. Able to simplify knowledge and adapt it to local needs.Externally focused: proactively monitors the external landscape to understand and communicate trends, competitive activity, risks and opportunities.
