Job Description About This Role The Medical Affairs Trainee role is an integral part of the Medical Department, offering the opportunity to work within the Neurology and Rare Diseases Therapeutic Areas, with a particular focus on Multiple Sclerosis and Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
The trainee will actively participate in implementing the medical strategy and supporting activities and events within the department.
They will also manage communications with agencies and suppliers involved in various projects and collaborate cross-functionally with all affiliate areas.
This internship provides a valuable platform for developing communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, gaining a comprehensive understanding of Medical Department activities, and deepening scientific knowledge within the Therapeutic Areas.

What You'll Do Provide support in the management of medical meetings and medical education projects.
Assist with the review and approval of medical materials in Veeva Inscite.
Oversee and manage ESE documentation.
Contribute to the management and coordination of clinical studies.
Support medical omnichannel activities and initiatives.
Participate in the daily operations of the various functions within the Medical Affairs department.
Accompany Medical Liaison Managers (MLMs) during face-to-face interactions, medical briefings, or clinical sessions.
Assist in managing and responding to medical information queries.

Required Skills Academic Degree in Life Sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MSc degree in other health related fields) Portuguese and English (spoken and written) are mandatory; Good understanding of Spanish would be a plus High communication skills and good presentation skills Highly motivated to learn, with good organizational skills and an overall positive attitude Ability to manage priorities and respond to simultaneous requests from different stakeholders Ability to understand and adhere to Biogen policies and general compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical industry Additional Information Why Biogen?
