Job Description
Ensure the medical expertise of the affiliate in relevant therapeutic areas
Provide medical-scientific updates on therapeutic areas, products, and competitors
Design and manage local clinical studies and Investigator Initiated Studies
Prepare and update the annual medical plan for each product and manage the budget
Integrate medical activities into the brand strategy and plan
Improve medical department systems and processes for best practice
Maintain relationships with key thought leaders and external experts
Review and approve promotional materials and regulatory documents
Facilitate participation in international clinical trials and provide protocol feedback
Provide medical support to the Pharmacovigilance Unit regarding adverse events reported in clinical trials on relevant Products
Undergo and stay updated with relevant training and procedures
Identify and liaise with potential sites for clinical studies
Support the annual scientific training plan for the sales force
The Successful Applicant
Medical (highly preferred) or master's degree in life science related subjects
Minimum of 3 years' working experience in clinical context or in pharmaceutical/biotechnological industry, in a scientific/medical role, within cross functional teams
Experience in oncology. Experience in onco-gynecology and companion diagnostics is a great plus.
Ability to transform strategies into feasible and realistic actions
Ability in leading, motivating, and coordinating cross functional team
Excellent knowledge of the health sector and of its development
Effective management of the work in a matrix structure
Knowledge of financial principles and processes
