TÉRMICA – EQUIPAMENTOS Area is looking to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Main Responsibilities: Perform Asset Management for energy production, particularly in the area of maintenance of mechanical equipment; Perform the Life Cycle Management of the equipment under the responsibility of the Directorate; Prepare, contract, and supervise maintenance activities; Perform equipment failure analysis and decision-making supported by the optimization of the equipment's life cycle cost - implement corrective actions, coordinating the necessary means; Execute Maintenance Management procedures and practices, including condition analysis, remaining life, RCM, and RBM, aiming to optimize the Life Cycle Cost of thermal assets; Monitor and carry out specialized diagnostic tests, analyze the state of equipment/facilities, and commission new systems/equipment; Participate in equipment or services procurement processes and studies/projects; Supervise compliance with established contracts, with a special focus on the appropriate balance between safety, environment, quality, deadline, and cost. Looking for people with the following requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Professional experienceof at least 2 years, preferably in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Materials, or Industrial Management; Knowledge of the following is valued: Electric power generation systems from thermal power plants; Knowledge and experience in condition assessment and its application in complex decision-making processes (for example, through the analysis of machine vibration or non-destructive testing); Industrial processes, particularly those associated with energy production; It is mandatory to have proficiency in MS Office tools. Fluent Portuguese and English in both oral and written expression, and basic knowledge of Spanish are required. A driver's license is also necessary, along with availability for frequent travel within Portugal and to all geographies of the Group. Additionally, professional experience in demanding contexts requiring collaboration among multidisciplinary and matrixed teams, along with the ability to manage an intense and flexible activity plan, is highly valued.
