Mechanical Engineer For Heat Pump Development (F/M/Div.)

Job DescriptionYour contribution to something big:Within Bosch Home Comfort, you will join a growing area of development of Electrical Solutions, the new and improved heating solutions for a sustainable future, Heat Pumps.You will be part of a cross-functional team, within an international environment, developing heat pump solutions which will be assembled in different Bosch plants around Europe. You will contribute to all phases of product life cycle, bringing your innovative ideas and solutions from an early concept definition phase to mass production, implementing cost and quality improvements. For that you will:Develop new technical concepts, innovative functions and solutions for heat pumps with focus on Low Price Product Segment; Test heat pumps andcomponents including appliance and interface with the system. Execute, analyze and document the results; Define heat pump requirements with the background of the entire heating/cooling and domestic water system; Issue product technical documentation (reports, procedures); Implement changes to existing heat pumps to improve the product quality, functionality and cost.QualificationsWhat distinguishes you:Educational background: degree in mechanical engineering, physics engineering or similar; Experience: experience with mechanical product development and development tools (FMEA, DFMA, FAM) is valued; Know-How: good understanding of thermodynamics and refrigeration systems.
