Job Description

Shape the future: Design and develop innovative mechanical solutions for sensors used in state-of-the-art fire detection systems. Take ownership from the concept phase to production and throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that each solution is built to last.
Ensure reliability: Our products are critical to safety, so reliability is our top priority. Utilize model-based engineering techniques, run simulations, and conduct rigorous tests to ensure the highest standards of product dependability.
Drive improvements: Leverage statistical analyses, tolerance assessments, and field data evaluations to continuously optimize design and performance.
Collaborate globally: Work within a diverse, interdisciplinary team across multiple worldwide locations to bring cutting-edge mechanical solutions to life.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education: Master's degree in Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, or a related technical field;
Experience: Proven experience in mechanical design, particularly with plastics, sheet metal, or die-casting technologies;
Familiarity with product lifecycle management tools like Creo CAD Software and PDMLink (or similar software);
Experience managing product data in PDM (Product Data Management) systems (ideally SAP);
Know-how: Skilled in simulation techniques, statistical analyses, and model-based engineering methods;
A deep understanding of mechanical design principles and cross-system interdependencies;
Languages: Strong English communication skills;
Working Style and Methods: Excellent analytical skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving;
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
Demonstrated decision-making abilities;
Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment;
Personality: A proactive team player who is passionate about safety and innovation.
