Hiire is helping Secil hire two Mechanical Coordinators to join the industrial projects team at the Maceira plant in Leiria. These people will be part of the ramp-up of the project to modernize the plant's production lines.

Your main responsibilities are:
Reviewing drawings, specifications and mechanical assembly contracts for the project;
Controlling the execution of the project's mechanical assemblies;
Interfacing with the civil, electrical, administration and work safety areas;
Ensuring the quality of the services provided and the supply of equipment;
Ensuring the availability of the necessary resources for the activities;
Reviewing drawings and mechanical specifications for specific areas of the project's construction and making sure that the contractors are working with the most up-to-date versions of the plans and drawings;
Obtain daily work plans (times, labor, tools and equipment) for specific areas of work from the mechanical contractors and check compliance at the end of the day, reporting any relevant deviations to the Mechanical Manager, as well as continuously checking the quality of the work to avoid delays or repetition of work;
Ensuring the availability of the necessary resources for the activities (such as the availability of structures to be installed, electricity, special tools or equipment, etc.) on the part of Secil;
Assess the progress of the civil and electrical works to ensure that this does not interfere with the development of the mechanical assembly.
Ensuring a safe, clean and efficient working environment in the areas where mechanical assembly and installation work is carried out;
Drawing up progress reports on mechanical installations at intervals set by the Mechanical Manager;
What you'll bring:
Higher education in Mechanical Engineering;
At least 5 years professional experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the cement industry;
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Resilient profile with the ability to manage time and priorities;
Strong sense of responsibility, customer and results orientation.
