The company creates comprehensive solutions for global clients in the Installation & Commissioning sector and is mainly active on the American and European continent.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You start at the production facility at the client's premises. Your commissioning project begins with the calibration and testing of the assembled process installation and machine line. After alignment with customer specifications, the system is transported to the client's location, with your presence required on-site.
You assist in the system's final assembly under the guidance of the Site Supervisor.
You will conduct I/O tests, functionality tests, and methodically commission the process installation in the production area, aiming to collaboratively produce the desired volumes with the client's team.
You will work closely with a Controls Engineer, Technicians, and/or Contractors, alongside a Site Manager throughout the different commissioning phases.
You will serve as an example in work attitude, technical knowledge, and skills, enjoying the transfer of knowledge and ensuring on-site activities proceed safely.
You calibrate for the correct end products and integrate other connecting machine lines.
You regularly report project progress to the Project Manager and engage in discussions about encountered issues during the project, which is a crucial part of this role.
You maintain meticulous records of the project's progress, which serve as the foundation for project evaluation and potential product improvements.
Given the industry's strict guidelines, your creativity will be pivotal in resolving on-site problems and challenges.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
Completed technical vocational education in Process Technology, Food Technology, or equivalent.
Previous experience in commissioning process installations within the global food industry.
Basic knowledge of electrical installations and PLCs (S7, Allen Bradley, and possibly SCADA).
Excellent communication skills in at least the English language. Having the ability to communicate in Dutch or Spanish is highly preferred but not indispensable.
Customer-oriented, ability to maintain composure under pressure, and possess creative problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel globally.
WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
The workweek is one of 5 (week)days of 10 hours. Seeing the nature of the business, and depending on the project, working a (half) day on Saturday can be required. Sundays generally are off.
Estimated rotation schedule is 6 weeks ON and 2 weeks OFF.
The company takes care of all flights, hotel, and local transportation.
(Food) allowance in line with the Dutch governmental list of business travel.
