As an MCR Controller in our Video Operations team, you will play a key role in delivering top-quality live sports broadcasts. You'll work in a supportive and collaborative environment, where team success and individual growth are both prioritized. This position requires adaptability to a fast-moving environment and a flexible rotational shift schedule. Key responsibilities Acquire, ingest, and distribute video content across our global network, working closely with team members to ensure all broadcasts meet our quality standards. Provide technical support during live broadcasts, collaborating with colleagues to troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless content delivery. Continuously monitor video and audio signals to uphold the highest quality standards. Perform quality control (QC) and troubleshoot any issues with live content to maintain broadcast integrity. Act as the first point of escalation for technical issues, coordinating with third-party suppliers when necessary to resolve complex faults. React quickly to technical emergencies, implementing immediate solutions or escalating issues to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted transmission. Keep comprehensive records of broadcast activities, including technical configurations, incident reports, and performance metrics. Work closely with Video Engineers, Scheduling/Planning teams, and Live Monitoring staff to coordinate and execute live broadcasts smoothly. Requirements Proven ability to work efficiently under high-pressure conditions. Ability to manage daily workloads and collaborate with team members effectively. Basic knowledge of broadcast procedures and processes. Experience in quality control (QC) of live operations and troubleshooting technical issues is a big advantage. Strong attention to detail with reporting and documentation of technical issues. Ideally to be familiar with satellite delivery systems, decrypting, and decoding. Prior experience with broadcast equipment and operations in a busy, deadline-driven environment is big plus. Knowledge of IP video workflows and downlink satellite systems can make the job more easy for you. This role includes ongoing learning opportunities, with access to an online learning portal, structured career development programs, and mentoring support.
