Material Compliance Engineer (IMDS) Your RESPONSIBILITIES Create and check IMDS data for materials and technologies customer projects.Act as the primary contact for project-related topics across global locations, coordinating responsibilities.Drive and implement new legal and customer requirements into existing systems and processes.Participate in various working groups (e.g., suppliers) to create new guidelines and specifications.Administer software tools, including user and role creation, and develop test algorithms.Conduct assessments for the entire range of materials in line with legal and customer-specific requirements, and initiate necessary workflows or follow-up actions (e.g., substitution checks).Perform material assessments in line with legal and customer requirements and initiate follow-up actions.Develop specifications for evaluation based on legal and customer specifications.Your Profile Degree in Materials Science Engineering.At least 5 years of experience in materials science, SP chemistry, hazardous substances, material compliance or IMDS, with specialized knowledge in the automotive sector.Solid understanding of substances in electronic components as well as materials such as plastics, paints, and adhesives.Strong experience with raw materials and hazardous substances, including safety and regulatory considerations.Fluent written and spoken English skillsProficient in MS Office and SAP.Good communication skills.Initiative, proactivity and capacity to work autonomously.Our Offer We provide an opportunity to integrate into a challenging and international environment, always in contact with the most innovative cutting-edge technologies.
