Position: Master Data Manager Location: Europe (Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Germany) Travel Requirement: 50% travel across Europe, including short hops and occasional weekend work for major implementations. Joining a team of 25 to 30 people who form part of an organisation of 22,000 people. Role Overview As the Master Data Manager, you will: Lead a master data management team, overseeing data quality standards and driving strategic implementation of a Master Data Management tool within the company. Collaborate with a vendor to build a robust business case and ensure successful tool deployment. Play a key role in their digital transformation, contributing to their growth and long-term success. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a diverse team located across Europe (Ireland, Netherlands, Slovakia, Portugal, Germany, France). Data Quality Standards: Establish and uphold high standards for data quality, ensuring data governance frameworks are effectively implemented. Strategic Implementation: Lead the strategic view and deployment of a Master Data Management tool, working closely with vendors and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. ERP Expertise: Utilise your strong ERP background (Infor LN would be advantageous but other ERPs will suffice), to drive data management excellence across the organisation. Project Management: Oversee complex initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion through effective project management and cross-functional collaboration. Desired Skills and Experience Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within Master Data Management, ideally in a multinational manufacturing or industrial setting. Master Data Expertise: Deep understanding of master data concepts, data governance frameworks, and best practices. ERP Knowledge: Proficiency in Infor LN CSIE, particularly in the "operations" area, is highly beneficial but not a "must have"! Project Management: Strong skills in leading cross-functional teams and driving complex projects to successful completion. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
