Learn more about FARO here FARO is looking for a Master Data Analyst to work from our office in Portugal. This will be considered a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2- 3 days in the office weekly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain material master data through manual entry in SAP/CPQ or via secondary input programs. Support the management of 3rd party software and all service parts by acting as the primary regional entry point into SAP/CPQ, maintaining pricing and part numbering. Maintain regional pricing based on submissions from horizontal product owners. Maintain vendor master data through manual entry or via secondary input programs. Coordinate the creation of new part numbers inter-regionally and ensure coordination between the other material data analysts to ensure master data is being extended and maintained globally. Prepare loads and collate data by retrieving the information from the accountable stewards and product owners. Help identify gaps in data quality and accuracy for its functional use and the business needs and provide viable solutions. Ensure consistency of product names, prices, product descriptions and other product information by auditing data throughout SAP/CPQ and catalogue system. Create reports detailing discrepancies and submit to data stewards for resolution. Audit vendor information and search for duplications and inconsistencies within the supplier data. Follow established governance procedures related to material and vendor master maintenance. Provide ongoing support in accordance with those procedures and recommend areas for improvement for the process and controls. Setup sales BOM master data to represent promotions in SAP including the BOMs, prices and material masters related to their implementation. Create queries using Automate Studio (Winshuttle) or SAP query functions to enable data quality checks and to perform audits on data quality and coordinate subsequent data cleanup efforts. Extract and store current information as needed before performing mass load to ensure that the data can be reversed to its original state if change is not fully verified Extract, transform and load data related to various projects and implementations. Drive project master data cleanup to ensure on time delivery by coordinating amongst various business teams to ensure the data is functional, timely and accurate prior to project deadlines. Continue development on data management processes and document any new process changes and additions Update, maintain and communicate on policies, procedures and tools for the department as directed, including updating departmental documents and creating process maps, forms and records. Main requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or data management or equivalent experience Demonstrated complete and full knowledge and experience of data modeling concepts, methodologies, and tools Proven experience in designing complex data models for reporting and analytics Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and data quality management Experience in leading data analysis and issue resolution Excellent documentation and organization skills Ability to mentor and guide junior team members Strong communication and collaboration skills Benefits & Perks WHAT FARO CAN OFFER YOU:
