The Channel Partner team empowers creative professionals to build sustainable businesses that help their clients stand out and succeed. To that end, the team is responsible for our partner program, known as Circle, and evolving Squarespace into a pro-friendly platform. A key to our success is marketing to both prospective partners and Circle members, and we're looking for a Marketing Lead to lead this work.
As Marketing Lead, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that increase awareness of the Squarespace partner opportunity among creative professionals (including current Squarespace users) and drive new member acquisition. You will also manage our efforts to increase awareness and utilization by Circle members of Circle program benefits and new Squarespace features.
You will report to the Director, Channel Partner Business. This is a hybrid role and you will work out of our NYC headquarters at least two days per week.
You'll Get To… Develop and drive the execution of strategies to lead efficient partner acquisition
Collaborate with product marketing, the Circle program team, and content marketing team on integrated go-to-market strategies
Manage customer definitions and personas, and be a subject-matter expert on the competitive landscape
Manage our marketing investments and track results against goals such as revenue, partner acquisition costs, and benefit awareness
Analyze user behavior and site/channel performance to iterate and optimize marketing investments
Partner with analytics and the Circle program team to create personalized customer experiences and lifecycle marketing strategies that support better user engagement and monetization
Who We're Looking For 7+ years of relevant marketing experience
A strategic leader who can gain alignment for and lead complex cross-functional initiatives
Expertise in using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform overall project prioritization and success
Experience working with performance marketing metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV) and using data to optimize campaign performance
Experience using Amplitude and/or Looker to review and analyze marketing performance
A proven history of being able to plan, advocate for, and own a marketing budget that covers multiple brand and DR channels
Preferred but not required: Experience marketing partner programs

Cash Compensation Range: $125,000 – $180,000 USD The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors. In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
