This role is essential for deploying and operating effective digital solutions within our manufacturing processes. You will integrate new technologies and platforms to support and enhance the management of shop floor operations.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement software solutions for data-driven manufacturing to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectivenessDevelop data acquisition and management systems to support manufacturing operationsCreate analytical tools to derive insights from process and production dataAnalyze and report on manufacturing data, including production rates, quality metrics, and equipment downtimeCollaborate with operations and IT teams to ensure data integrity and identify optimization opportunitiesDrive the innovation process to pinpoint digital solutions with significant benefitsAdvocate for and implement proof-of-concepts to integrate digital manufacturing initiativesConduct experiments to validate hypotheses and implement innovative solutions in manufacturing environmentsYOUR PROFILEBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sectorProficient in software development with languages such as Python, Java, and SQLStrong understanding of CSS, HTML, and other web development technologiesExperience with source code management tools like GitGood knowledge in operational technology (IT/OT) and manufacturing software applications (SCADA/MES)Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniquesFamiliarity with manufacturing processesExcellent command of English, German is preferred.
