Tasks
On-site process support for our CMO
Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to optimize performance, quality, and yield
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new processes
Train and mentor team members on best practices in process engineering and optimization
Become the company expert for our manufacturing process at industrial scale and be integral part of our investment project
Manage smaller investment projects in our production and at our CMO
Ensure safety and compliance in projects, from facilitating governmental approvals to establishing post-construction maintenance plans and vendor standards.
Requirements
You have an academic degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field
You have 3+ years of work experience in biotech- or chemical production
You have proven experience in process optimization and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
You love bringing structure and efficiency to a dynamic and ambiguous startup environment
You have a hands-on personality, team-play-spirit and efficient self-time management
Open to travel and spend weeks and months abroad at our production sites (potentially relocation possible)
You are passionate about sustainability and eager of being part of a fast-growing startup
Understanding engineering in food production environments
Fluent in English; German, Slovak and/or Portuguese is a plus
