Key responsibilities
EY is currently seeking a Manager with relevant experience in Regulatory Compliance matters in the financial sector. As a Manager, you will be responsible for:
Manage teams, contributing actively to develop their technical skills and motivation.
Design, develop and manage several projects with a high level of efficiency and quality where you will be able to:
Support customers through the definition of governance and internal control models, policies, processes, and procedures.
Coordinate the implementation of applicable requirements and guidelines.
Support customers through authorization processes submitted to supervisory authorities.
Conduct independent reviews to verify if the customers' internal policies and procedures are compliant with the regulatory framework.
Verify the implementation of supervisory measures issued by supervision authorities.
Lecture training sessions for customers.
Lead both regulatory and technology insights to help customers identify, monitor, and mitigate compliance risks to their business.
Monitor changes and analyse in detail financial regulation and guidelines applicable to the financial system (namely, emerging regulations related to artificial intelligence).
Interact with customers, understanding and proposing solutions to address their present and future needs and challenges.
Establish professional and trust relationships with customers and develop and implement commercial strategies.
To qualify for the role, you should have:
Academic Education in legal, financial, management or economics.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance in the financial services sector.
Background in a consulting firm, financial institution, law firm, and/or financial supervisor/regulator environment.
Knowledge of the financial regulatory framework and a strong desire to acquire or develop new knowledge and improve skills.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Demonstrated team management skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization and articulate complex concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, showcasing a proactive problem-solver mindset eager to find process improvements.
Business mindset and commercial acumen.
An interest in leveraging technology to enhance process efficiency, demonstrating an innovative approach to transforming traditional processes into tech-driven solutions.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Availability to travel.
