Manager, Product Experience Design
Overview
We're seeking an exceptional and motivated design manager to be a part of our Blockchain and Crypto division at Mastercard. Our team is committed to developing and designing innovative blockchain and crypto-centric solutions. In close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering, we aim to create top-tier products that not only meet customer needs but also drive significant business outcomes and deliver value to the end user.
Role:
Leading the design of differentiated and scalable experiences that drive business objectives by meeting the needs of end customers and partners in the value chain.
Primary competencies include concept ideation and solution design, defining and managing the customer journey, hypothesis testing through prototypes, feature articulation and user flows, interaction design, and optimizing the experience in commercialization.
Partner with Product Managers to define problem statements, define deliverables and timelines, and secure necessary resources.
Serve as the primary point of contact on initiatives, providing day-to-day design leadership.
Making design decisions on initiatives in partnership with Product and Technology, guided by research findings.
Driving the creation and adoption of design and experience patterns.
Managing product design initiatives to ensure overall success, including scope, resourcing, and quality deliverables that meet stated goals in a timely fashion.
Demonstrate and contribute to team values and cultural priorities.
Surfacing growth and development opportunities for self and peers.
Demonstrated ability to execute a design that aligns with strategic direction and intended outcomes.
Interaction design of end-to-end flows and prototypes, visual design as needed within the scope of an existing design system for areas of business new to Mastercard.
Refining product design recommendations through iterative experimentation and a deep understanding of how to meet end-user needs in parallel with business needs.
Experienced in understanding and shaping end-to-end customer journeys.
Partner with Product and Technology to deliver feasible design recommendations and enhancements that support business goals.
