This will be considered a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2-3 days in the office weekly.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Lead a team of IT professionals and manage performanceDrive the translation of business needs into technical requirements, functional specifications, architectures, and implementation of conceptsProvide guidance and coaching to team members on architecture, design, and implementationFoster technical decision making on the team, make final decisions when necessaryLead the team to technical excellenceChampion a continuous improvement mentality monitoring and implementing necessary changesParticipate in development of long-term vision and planning of new services/capabilities and communicate to the teamEnsure adherence to standardsRepresent the team's interests within the FARO Porto site and the Global Digital OrganizationMain requirementsQualification and RequirementsMaster's Degree - Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent technical degree preferred10+ years of SAP Sales & Distribution functional experience in a sales and distribution environment and preferably, in a contract manufacturing environment5+ year SD function in S4 HANA environment including leading contractors and AMS3 full life cycle SD implementation experienceAt least 10 years delivering projects, enhancements and supporting sustainmentExperienced in facilitating and leading design and design workshops, requirements capture, configuration, testing, deployment and supportExperienced driving end-to-end process design and integrationStrong interpersonal skills including excellent written, verbal, listening, and critical thinkingPrior Experience with SAP SD configuration and interfaces is preferredFlexibility during organizational and/or business changesCustomer Service orientedEffectively disseminates information to appropriate audiencesExcellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
