What you will be doing: Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Oversee and mentor a team of 10 marketing professionals, including specialists, analysts and technical experts, ensuring strong collaboration, professional development, and high performance in delivering FedEx's goals.Be the EU owner of the marketing technology stack, collaborate with global teams and other regional teams to ensure high degree of efficiency and standardization, and the use of the latest and most advanced technologies available.Lead the technical execution of advanced marketing strategies and tactics, including deploying dynamic content via email, and across digital channels, for all EU markets and languages. Focus on premium quality design, spotless technical execution and continuous improvement based on data.Use program management solutions (Asana, Percolate) to maintain a shared repository and calendar of marketing activities. Orchestrate frequency of customer contacts and constantly adjust to optimize performance.Spearhead the integration of new capabilities to the EU organization including new AI tools and marketing automation technologies to enhance efficiency and results.In collaboration with our analytical teams, monitor marketing efforts performance and work with partners in the organization to improve conversion rates and marketing ROI.Own our marketing compliance efforts to ensure our technology stack is setup correctly, and all our communications respect GDPR and any other relevant regional regulations.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with content, product, IT, and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment of digital strategies with broader FedEx business objectives and brand positioning across different European regions. What do you bring with you: Leadership and Team Management: The candidate must have proven experience managing and developing a team of marketing technology specialists and analysts, with strong leadership, coaching, talent development and delegation skills to maximize team productivity and collaboration.Salesforce Marketing Cloud expertise: Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce environment with a special focus on salesforce marketing cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio) for campaign orchestration, automation and personalization at scale. Certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a strong plus. Knowledge of other technologies in this space is also a plus.Proven experience managing email marketing teams operating at scale across markets. Experience with B2B email marketing is a plus.Data knowledge: Proven ability to work with large amounts of marketing data, in particular for audience and segmentation building, and a solid understanding of database structures and cloud based storage solutions (Azure).Organizational skills: Ability to orchestrate activities under short timelines maintaining a high degree of organization and visibility for your team and your stakeholders.Analytical and Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong proficiency in analytics tools and data visualization platforms to track, report, and optimize email/channel performance based on actionable insights.Tech Curiosity: Passion for new and emerging technology trends in the marketing space and a track record of implementing innovative solutions. Experience implementing AI solutions in a marketing environment and certifications in AI business practices are a plus.Vendor Management: Proven experience working with vendors in the marketing technology and data management space.Cross-Cultural and Regional Marketing Understanding: Experience managing marketing efforts across various European countries, with sensitivity to local market dynamics, language, and cultural differences, ensuring digital strategies are effective in each market.
