A Snapshot of Your Day

In coordination with the relevant internal Siemens Energy (SE) stakeholders, you support coordination activities related to Long Term Service Agreements at Power Plants equipped with Siemens Energy rotating equipment (large gas turbines, steam turbines and generators) at the power plants of our external customers. Throughout the process, you lead the communication with customers and the execution of the service contracts ensuring we meet our customers needs and expectations.

How You'll Make An Impact Be responsible to lead the maintenance activities on gas turbines, steam turbines and generators, mainly in utility scale power generation plants (Central) but also for selected industrial applications (Distributed power generation & cogeneration). These service activities are typically based on Long Term Service contracts including the scheduled maintenance consisting of new parts, repairs, and field services. But your role is also to manage the unscheduled maintenance, and the extra works resulting out of Findings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, field service, EQHS, and finance, to gather vital information and develop an efficient management of the contracts.Analyze customer's requirements and RFQs to clearly understand objectives, scope, timelines, negotiation points and evaluation criteria.Coordinate and lead external meetings with customers and internal meetings to assign responsibilities, review progress, and ensure that contractual obligations are fulfilled.Develop proposals for upgrades and modernizations, adapting power plants to the needs of the changing generation market. You also promote decarbonization solutions and plant efficiency improvements.Similar to other project management roles, overseeing the budget is a key task. This includes mid/long-term budgeting and planning.Develop strategies and tactics for negotiating technical upgrades, pricing, and other relevant aspects to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Engage in negotiations with customers to address concerns, overcome objections, and find common ground to reach favorable outcomes.Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet agreed-upon standards and satisfy client and contract requirements.What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.3 years previous experience in project management, preferably in gas turbine, steam turbine and generator services as a Project Manager or similar role.Customer focus, through understanding of customer's needs and expectations which we have to meet to make them successful.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to write clear and coordinate meetings and presentations, and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.Strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery of proposals.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously meeting tight deadlines and managing the pressure set by customers during the proposal process.Focused, organized, and receptive to other people opinions and views, ability to analyze and collaborate efficiently with teams.Drive, energy, persistence, and capability to passion people around you.Analytical thinking to understand customer demands and orientation to detail, reviewing and carefully editing proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with customer requirements.Teamwork ability, strong collaborative attitude with colleagues on your team and working effectively with the operations team of Project Managers.Ability to keep focus on all times to assure high quality in the work you deliver.Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions and approaches.Understanding and experience on the power generation market.About The Team
