Purpose of Position
Monitor and coordinate the assigned daily scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions to ensure they are promptly and efficiently performed by approved maintenance service centres, with minimum impact on aircraft availability, in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Coordinate, monitor and control daily turnaround, unscheduled and scheduled aircraft maintenance actions performed by the approved maintenance services centres to ensure that maintenance is timely and efficiently completed with minimum downtime;
Provide maintenance support to flight crews to enable timely technical decisions to be made upon possible Aircraft On Ground (AOG);
Contact service providers to obtain information on progress of cleaning, scheduled and unscheduled work orders in order to control release to service date, anticipate any maintenance problems and avoid maintenance overlapping;
Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Tracking System work order status notes current to allow decisions and assure that aircraft are repaired in a timely manner by always keeping management aware;
Inform all relevant departments affected in case of grounded aircraft (e.g., OCC, Scheduling and Flight Operations) to keep them aware of the current aircraft status;
Review and approve maintenance contract change orders to allow control on aircraft costs and additional aircraft maintenance;
Coordinate with the Aircraft Spare Parts Coordinator to ensure that required aircraft parts, data, and support equipment for 'grounded' aircraft are obtained and shipped in a timely manner to minimize downtime;
Report all unusual aircraft continuing airworthiness activities or events to the RTS Supervisor to enable proper notification to regulatory authority and within the company;
Review aircraft continuing airworthiness records to guarantee documentation is filled in accordance with regulatory and aircraft historical files are accurate;
Ensure that transportation arrangements for non-NJE maintenance personnel traveling to aircraft 'grounded' cross-country requested to the Travel department are efficiently and timely completed.

Minimum of 5 years of aircraft technical maintenance experience;
Good knowledge and interpretation of EASA regulations and requirements;
Basic knowledge of FAA and ICAO regulations and requirements;
Aircraft technical and system troubleshooting skills;
Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
Proficiency in MS Office.
