Maintenance Operation Controller

Excel have a new permanent opportunity with one of the worlds leading business jet operators for a Maintenance Controller to join them on a full time basis based in beautiful Portugal. You will be working as part of a dedicated team to support the maintenance of their fleet of aircraft around Europe, as well as farther afield overseeing the co-ordination, planning and progression of maintenance functions to ensure the fleet maintains continued operations. Some of the key responsibilities can be detailed as: Co-ordinate, monitor and control daily and scheduled maintenance actions Support flight crews in regard to AOG situations Liaise with service providers in multiple countries Co-ordinate parts supply with the parts department and external suppliers Review airworthiness records to ensure compliance with international regulations Logistics co-ordination for AOG events As you can see from the above, this is a challenging and varied role, which requires previous experience of working within a busy maintenance operation, ideally 4+ years within a similar role. You will have had a background within aircraft maintenance, understanding what is needed to keep aircraft in the sky, and how to support them when they are not – holding an EASA licence will be helpful, but not essential with the right level of experience. In return, you will earn a basic salary of around €48k per year, however this will increase if you hold an aircraft licence and with various bonuses and additional incentives, you could see a total salary of up to €55k – €60k per year.
