Hiire is helping Secil hire the next Maintenance Manager (Planning, Inspection, and Reliability) to join the maintenance team at the Maceira plant in Leiria.

Your main responsibilities are:
Coordinating Maintenance Planning and Control activities;
Monitoring and inspecting the unit's maintenance;
Establishing maintenance goals and objectives, analyzing process results, ensuring productivity and guaranteeing equipment reliability, and meeting the required time, quality and cost standards;
Proposing and implementing investment projects in line with the defined objectives and approved investment plans;
Responsible for cost management to meet budget targets;
Coordinating and evaluating plant failures, identifying possible chronic problems and drawing up action plans to correct them;
Collaborating in the selection of suppliers and maintenance service providers;
Drawing up progress reports on the mechanical installations according to the frequency defined by the Mechanical Manager.
What you'll bring:
Technical or higher education in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering or related areas;
Proven experience in maintenance planning roles in industries, preferably processing cement or similar materials;
Solid knowledge of equipment used in cement production, operational characteristics and specific maintenance requirements will be valued;
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Good teamwork skills, as well as motivating and managing them;
Analytical ability to analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance and production processes.
