A Maintenance Project Engineer is responsible for new project coordination, execution and is animating Continuous Improvement actions plan. Projects could be related with Facilities (water, energy, waste, building) and Production (new layouts transformation, machines upgrade). Is also responsible for supporting the maintenance team on daily operations such as preventive/corrective tasks, new projects and efficiency of resources.
Job Responsibilities: Ensure the right skills are available in the department, organize training plans for technicians, and stay aware, propose and follow the right certification & validity of the teams (electricity, safety, ...)
Assign clear roles and responsibilities , delegation linked to the position to provide clear framework and autonomy of his/her managers.
Organize team activities in order to support Production and minimize machine breakdowns.
Build the maintenance preventive plan according to GE/ central guidelines and suppliers instructions in collaboration with Production to ensure service and quality targets.
Update the maintenance preventive plan if necessary in collaboration with Production and Engineering teams.
Build, follow and improve key process KPIs for the department (Example: MTTR (Medium time to repair), MTBF (Medium time between failure), OEE (overall efficiency equipment), EER (equipment efficiency reliability), cost, water, energy, waste, ...)
Responsible for energy, water and waste consumption and follow up of KPIs daily and on projects (industrial/ CI).
Plan audits , audit or follow audits from his/her team.
Define and review specifications and requirements for suppliers contacts purchased by procurement department in order to fulfill the needs of maintenance department.
Work closely daily with Production, Engineering, CI, EHS teams on mid and/or long term projects.
Track performance transparently with technicians and Production managers.
Follow and encourage CI projects executed by his/her teams.
Recommend improvements based on data analytics.
Propose mid/long term vision of the lab on technical change (automation, ...).
Contribute to annual budget definition in terms of capacity equipments, human capacity.
Define action plan for the department to meet the budget targets.
Review/Renegotiate all contracts with external suppliers.
Organize external technical work from suppliers.

Machines performance improvement (corrective - retrofit)
Purchase corrective spares
Tech clubs
PCP implementation and improvement
Sub-contract management on production side (yearly maintenance, Satisloh, bipshera, AR, TECO, Insomec)
Candidate Profile: Master Degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, or similar); At least 1 to 3 years of proven experience in a high volume manufacturing facility; teamwork and transparency; Problem Solving.
