About the role The LQA Manager at PTW's Portugal studios oversees all Localization QA projects, ensuring they exceed client expectations by closely collaborating with global peers. This role involves managing and nurturing a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators, fostering their professional growth. The LQA Manager is responsible for creating and implementing standardized processes based on industry and company best practices while continually reviewing and assessing project delivery for ongoing improvement. Additionally, the position requires managing staff utilization to ensure profitability and acting as a champion for maintaining high linguistic quality. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all Localization QA projects delivered by PTW's Portugal studios, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery. Lead and mentor a diverse team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and LQA Game Testers, fostering professional growth and development. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the global organization to align on goals, exceed client expectations, and drive project success. Establish and implement standardized processes based on industry best practices, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all operations. Continuously evaluate project delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance team performance. Requirements Proven experience in an outsourcing environment such as customer support, gaming studios, localization, or related industries.
