The Logistics Specialist shall manage imports for clients and is responsible for collecting and communicating all necessary information related to upcoming and ongoing shipments, projects, and services.Ideal candidates will be able to:Route cargo in accordance with legal and customer requirements.Proactively approach issue resolution and shipment responsibility.Accurately verify shipping documentation such as certificates of origin, customs invoices, packing lists, and certificates of insurance.Communicate with freight forwarders, shippers, consignees, clients, customs, and internal communication within the team.Contract External Logistics Service Providers for route & port surveys.Manage transport regulations compliance, including permitting, over-dimensional, and hazardous cargo.Maintain online tracking and metrics tools.Our clients range from small local businesses to Fortune 500 firms in industry sectors such as power generation and renewable energy, road construction equipment, electronics, industrial materials, heavy-duty trucks, mining and drilling equipment, oil and gas, modular building, medical equipment, not-for-profit, and US government.
