Logistics Lead - Supply and Operational ManagementThe Logistics Lead manages the activities within the Logistics and Warehousing function, to include but not limited to - order handling, customs requirements, stock control and onward distribution. Implementing methodologies to streamline processes which will drive value for the business.
Responsibilities Responsible for designing and implementing projects, governance and continuous improvement opportunities in Logistics, through a solid understanding of the environment and working alongside stakeholders within SCM, the business and external partners.Uses judgement based on functional knowledge of inventory and is expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, including: Use of methodologies to avoid over ordering / overstocking items in local markets and optimizing inventory availability at lowest cost;Manage tactical and operational planning ensuring that supply chain plans are fully integrated with business strategies.Manages 3rd party Logistics operations and responsible to deliver highest service levels.Supports overall governance of Logistics through helping to shape standards and rules.Minimum Requirements A university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering is essential.At least 8 years of applicable work experience in Logistics operations management (warehousing, inbound, outbound, distribution, reverse logistics operations etc.).Excellence in internal and external stakeholder management and business partnering.Excellent organizational and time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Fluent in English and Portuguese.About Inetum Inetum is a European leader in digital services.
