Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems, and communication systems, as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division, are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.
Job Description
International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As Local IT Support EMEA , you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
Your contribution to something big:
Working as a team member in our local IT Support team
Advise and guide IT users in the use of IT products (hardware and software) according to the agreed service process
Support users in the selection/procurement of end devices and software, keeping technical and commercial criteria in mind for decision-making
Analyze and describe problems and requirements together with the customer, select the appropriate solution based on urgency, scope, importance, and position of the customer, and justify this convincingly
Take over the installation and configuration of IT products and resolve problems with hardware and software. In case of complex problems, independently contact the next support level and involve further experts
Work in rollout projects (hardware and software) together with your team
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Successful completion of an apprenticeship as IT specialist, information technician or comparable qualification
Very good knowledge in IT and PC (hardware and software)
Very high customer/service orientation and the ability to work in a team, including good communication skills
Resilient and calm in disruptive situations
