Job Description Team presentation and main goal: The mission of the Loan Administration team is to perform all the loan administration tasks and manage the associated refinancing activity of all financing activity of the Paris branch.
This is done under strict time constraints to ensure a high-level of servicing whilst limiting any potential Operational Risk issues.
Financing Activity scope – Real Assets (Aviation, Infrastructure and Energy, Real Estate Finance), Investment Banking (Acquisition & Strategic Finance)], Coverage [Corporate, FIG (Financial Institutions Group)], GCSC (Global Structured Credit and Solutions), Trade Finance: Full loan management; facilitating new loan utilisations, rollovers, repayments, prepayments, fees, interest rate and margin management; Cash flow management; monitoring the receipt of all interests, principal sums and fees due.
Additional nostro reconciliation checks performed; Cash/Payment management; Refinancing and liquidity rate management; Ensuring day-to-day support across all business lines – both for new and existing credit facilities; Investigation and query management.
Main tasks and goals : As a Loan Admin Officer, you will: Ensuring the processing and management of all financing deals in compliance with legal documentation and the agreed procedures and rules; Guarantee optimal security conditions for financing deals, making it is processed withing the defined schedule; Preparing funds availability via existing payment channels; Be responsible for performing the necessary validation steps of deals performed by the Back-Office; Ensure the availability of funds; Perform controls and follow-up actions, while ensuring data booking accuracy; Support the training and constant evolution of junior staff.
Qualifications Master in Finance, Economics, Management; Banking environment; LoanIQ tool; Relevant cash payment and reconciliation systems (Swift, Kalypso, Plasnet, Sesame, Picasso, IMS, etc.
); Microsoft 365; Fluent in English (mandatory) and French (as a plus). Soft Skills: Strong decision-making capabilities; Ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions; Strong attention to detail with a control and risk discipline mindset; Taking ownership and being accountable for the area of responsibility; Good communication skills, as well as the ability to interact confidently with all levels of stakeholders; Team-player with a training mindset to ensure the growth of junior team members.
