As a Line Cook, you will work closely with the Sous Chef and the kitchen team to maintain consistently excellent standards in our gastro pub setting. Join us in Cascais, where you can showcase your cooking skills, contribute to creating unforgettable dining experiences, and become an integral part of our dynamic and passionate team.Responsibilities:Prepare food for service, ensure accurate portioning, proper cooking techniques, and adherence to recipes and presentation standards.Collaborate with the kitchen staff to cook menu items and ensure efficient food production and timely service.Answer, report, and follow instructions from the Head Chef or Sous Chef, maintaining effective communication and teamwork.Clean stations and take care of leftover food, ensuring a clean and organized work environment throughout the shift.Ensure that food plates come out simultaneously with high quality and in a timely manner, coordinating with the kitchen team.Follow kitchen standards, procedures, and health and safety requirements, promoting a safe and sanitary work environment.Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces and equipment at the end of the shift, adhering to cleaning protocols and standards.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head Chef, Sous Chef, or kitchen management.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of line cooking experience, demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.Strong organizational skills to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain composure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Be a native or fluent English speaker with a C1 level proficiency. Display effective communication skills in English.
