We are currently looking for a Legal Officer specialised in Corporate Law and Business Law, who speaks fluent French, to be part of our team in our Lisbon office.
The Legal Officer will assist the Legal Director and ensure that the corporate life of Acolad's French affiliates is duly managed (meeting minutes, INPI formalities…) and that agreements with third parties, including customers, suppliers, and vendors are duly centralised, reviewed, and executed at a group level.
Responsibilities
Manage the corporate life of Acolad's French affiliates;
Draft corporate meeting minutes for French affiliates;
Execute formalities on INPI;
Draft and review legal agreements such as framework contracts and NDAs in French and English;
Support on the implementation of compliance regulations such as data privacy laws (including the GDPR) and anti-corruption laws (including the Loi Sapin II);
Perform other clerical and legal reporting functions assigned by the Legal Director.
Requirements
University degree in International Business Law or equivalent qualification;
Fluent in French and English;
2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
Business law oriented on an EU and international scale;
Excellent interpersonal skills: negotiation/relationship building skills;
Comfortable operating in an international and multi-cultural environment;
Flexibility and adaptability in approach to all tasks;
Excellent attention to detail;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook);
