We are in search of a Legal Counsel - Labour Law to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar . In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring ongoing compliance with labour regulations, fostering a positive workplace culture, and effectively managing employee relations to support the company's growth and stability. What will be your responsibilities Monitor ongoing compliance with the applicable labour laws and regulations, including employment contracts and employee rights; Draft, review, and monitor workplace policies and procedures to promote compliance with labour laws and best practices; Provide ongoing support in labour-related topics, including working with the HR Team and external local counsels; Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with labour laws and identify areas for continuous improvement; Identify potential labour law risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, working closely with HR and management teams; Monitor changes, legal trends and best practices in connection with labour laws, ensuring proactive legal compliance. What are the requirements to join us in this position Degree in Law from a Portuguese University or internationally recognized institution; A minimum of 6+ years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably within a fast-paced environment or top-tier legal firm; Strong knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and best practices; Passion for working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to demonstrate personal commitment and drive to set and exceed high standards; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with a proven track record in navigating complex legal environments; Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across multiple regions; Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages is a plus
