Legal Counsel Gambling (Remote)

What are you working on? At what stage of the project(s)? ???????? For which tasks (responsibilities)?- Provide expert legal advice and support on issues related to gambling laws and regulations applicable to the gaming industry.
- Review and advise on game design and features to ensure compliance with all local, state, and international gambling regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including development agreements, licensing agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company's gaming products and advise on adaptation strategies.
- Collaborate with the compliance and development teams to implement best practices for game design and monetization strategies that respect legal boundaries.
- Manage litigation risks and oversee the resolution of legal disputes related to gambling accusations or compliance issues.
- Conduct training sessions for the development teams on the implications of gambling laws as they relate to game design and functionality.
What kind of professional are we looking for?Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- License to practice law in EU, US, Asia.
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked directly with gambling law in the entertainment or gaming industry.
- In-depth understanding of gambling regulations and issues surrounding the classification of games as gambling.
- Proven track record of navigating complex legal and regulatory environments.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
