This includes the responsibility to give legal advice to senior leaders about all relevant matters.What You'll Be DoingWorking within the Legal team to provide accurate, relevant, and timely advice to the Porto General Manager, Leadership Team and corporate functions on a variety of legal topics that relate to Portuguese and European legislation.Acting as a point of contact for data protection-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.Maintain the company ROPA and proactively engage with internal stakeholders to assess ongoing compliance with data protection laws and regulations.Providing internal stakeholders with advice on labour law matters.Drafting/reviewing commercial agreements.Designing and implementing company policies and procedures.Designing and delivering legal training to the business and providing clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.Act as an enabler and strategic partner by proactively identifying solutions and designing legal strategies in support of business goals and change plans.Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues, always mindful of the organisation's risk appetite.Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the company.Capable of providing clear, concise, pragmatic and commercially viable legal advice in language non-legal colleagues can understand.Staying up to date with changes to legislation, particularly to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect our company.What You'll BringBehavioural Competencies:Building Support - We establish close relationships with our stakeholders, underpinned by trust, integrity and respect.
