About the role: We're looking for a talented and experienced Lead Ruby on Rails Developer to join our European team.
As a Lead Developer, you'll play a crucial role in driving the technical direction and success of our projects - with a focus on our current platform integration.
You'll get to utilize your Ruby on Rails, systems architecture & design expertise and first-rate leadership skills in this role.
They'll be instrumental in building the team, guiding and mentoring developers while ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and solutions.
The ultimate goal is to make the CHL platform performant, secure and a pleasure to use for all clients!
Tasks Your mission: Driving our current integration project (building features from a Golang platform into an existing RoR platform) which has a high impact on the successful integration of two companies Co-driving technical direction and decision-making process, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives - together with your counterpart based in Australia Breaking down requirements in accordance with platform architecture and develop robust and scalable Ruby on Rails applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards Developing new features in collaboration with our product management, UX, front-end, QA and mobile teams Write self-documented domain-driven, clean code and evolve existing codebase Build a small team of RoR devs, mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, promoting their growth and professional development.
Lead by example: manage a team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver exceptional results Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Ruby on Rails development, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the table Requirements What we're looking for: Proficiency in Ruby on Rails development (min.
