We're looking for a talented, self-driven Lead Protocol Engineer who can help build the ultimate interoperability layer of Ethereum. This is a full time, 100% remote opportunity to work with talented crypto team members located all over the world!
Responsibilities Lead development, maintenance, and deployment of smart contracts with a focus on security.Spearhead our security posture through security assessments, threat modeling, internal audits, bug bounty programs, etc.Own the strategic roadmap, technical architecture, and prioritization efforts.Drive design documentation, specifications, and code reviews.Participate in reviewing and accepting code contributions from open-source developers and community members.Keep up to date with open source product advancements for infrastructure enhancement.Collaborate with the engineering team to educate them on optimal design patterns for scaling our technology to millions of users with security in mind.Requirements 5+ years of experience with Solidity.Extensive experience with Typescript.Experience with writing and deploying smart contracts in highly adversarial environments.Experience building and maintaining highly secure software and shipping new products with strong reliability guarantees.Hands-on experience in security and auditing processes.A drive to be constantly learning - much of what we're working on is groundbreaking technology and requires having an investigative, growth mindset to succeed in.Interest in interoperability and understanding of Connext value proposition.Ideal candidate is the experienced Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering from another established web3 protocol with a strong passion in interop.
