Our department is responsible for delivering software development projects that make Vestas turbines efficient and safe to operate. We are a team of highly skilled and experienced Project Managers and Project Technical Leads located across three different sites in India, Portugal, and Denmark.As a member of the Project Execution team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and impactful projects that contribute to a sustainable future. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.ResponsibilitiesDelivery of agreed project scope within the tolerances for time, cost, quality, scope, risks, and benefitsPlan, develop, implement, and control the project according to Vestas Governance and report to relevant stakeholdersEnsure value chain alignment with a large range of project stakeholdersSetup an effective organization of your projects including solid governance - Project Leadership is key in this roleEnsure proper project risk management of software development projectsFoster a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for enhancing workflows, processes, and overall ways of working.QualificationsWe expect that you have a Diploma or Master level education within the relevant academic field (e.G. Engineering or Business)Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing medium to high complexity Software Product development projects in a matrix organization with multi-disciplinary and multicultural teamsIdeally have achieved recognized Project Management accreditation (either Prince2, PMI or similar)Experience with Agile software development methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, MS Project; ConfluenceSolid language skills (verbal and written) in English are requiredHigh level of leadership & communication skills targeting the relevant audience in the organization, across culturesOpen-minded and attracted by an international and high pace environmentAbility to take ownership and effectively engage in continuous improvements within the project execution within the departmentWhat We OfferWe offer an opportunity to be part of a solid team in an exciting business with very solid products, supporting Vestas' overall mission.
