.Lead our effort to get Ubuntu fit for mission critical environments like automotive, aerospace, industrial robotics and other highly regulated uses.Canonical has created a role for a Development Lifecycle Engineer with a passion for engineering excellence and open source, and experience implementing an agile lifecycle release train across multiple sets of products. The purpose of this role is to bridge Canonical's open source engineering processes with regulated technology platform requirements both in terms of compliance and certification. In this role, you will lead, challenge, and influence the culture and work environment.Your role will work with all engineering stakeholders to demonstrate Canonical's 'ways of working'. Together with engineering leadership, you will define and implement continuous improvement processes and establish qualification requirements to support engineering quality standards. You will also establish strategic relations with external working groups, committees and partners.
