As a Veeva OpenData Lead Data Operations, you will be responsible for the direct supervision of a remote team of 8 to 15 data stewardship team members. Your role is to promote a positive and rewarding team culture that is detail-oriented and strives for excellence when it comes to data quality. You should enjoy leading people, growing individuals, and scaling a team.

What You'll DoLead a team of 8 to 15 Data StewardsDeliver on the team targets (quality, productivity, efficiency)Grow and develop your teamWork with the Product Manager to understand the product roadmap requirements and allocate work and resources to meet project deadlinesDesign, document, innovate, and optimize processes to ensure best-in-class delivery of data quality and efficiencySupport additional projects and ad-hoc tasks related to data stewardshipRequirements1+ years of leading and managing high-performance teamsFluent in English. Knowledge of additional languages used in Africa (e.g., Swahili, Amharic) is a plusExperience and understanding of Nigeria or Angola markets (preferably in the Health Care System)Process and result-oriented mindsetHighly conscientious (organized, analytical, "can do" attitude)Proficiency in Windows, Google Apps, MS Office, and other office software.
