Land Acquisition & Development Analyst Algarve

We are looking for a bilingual Land Acquisition & Development Analyst who is fluent in both English and Portuguese to join our team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week). This role is perfect for someone based in Algarve with a strong background in development and construction.
Role Overview: As a Land Acquisition & Development Analyst, you will be instrumental in identifying, acquiring, and analyzing potential development projects. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, requiring a versatile skill set and a passion for social housing.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Research: Locate potential land acquisition opportunities that align with our development goals.
Market Analysis & Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough market analysis and feasibility studies to determine the viability of projects.
Financial Modeling: Prepare detailed financial models, including Gross Development Value (GDV) calculations and pro forma statements.
Negotiation & Acquisition: Negotiate with landowners and facilitate the acquisition process.
Due Diligence: Support due diligence activities, including title research and environmental assessments.
Development Costs Analysis: Analyze development costs and assist with project pricing strategies.
Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate development, land acquisition, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant real estate software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Passion for social housing and community impact.
