All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with Company's Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards.To ensure that thehighest levelGuest Servicein the Kids Clubis practiced at all times and that theKids Club Team isworking as per company procedures.To always greet and treat passengers in a friendly and professional manner.Tosupervise,coach, train and support theKids Clubteam.To ensure that passenger complaints are always treated in the most diplomatic way.To have an extensive knowledge about all outlets and services onboard to give the best possible passenger experience.To organize, plan and execute several Kids Club activities and events for each cruise.To ensure that the Kids Club programme is planned and published well in advance and that the activities are taking place as advertised.To attend passenger events and receptions as required.To ensure that guest satisfactionrelated to the Kids Clubis always as high as possible.To be present as much as possiblein the Kids Club during the day.To prepare the working schedule for theKids Clubteam in cooperation with theAssistant Kids Club Manager.To ensure thatwork stationsand Kids Club areasare cleaned according to schedule, following the detail of USPH standards.To submit work orders when deficiencies are noted or when maintenance is required and to follow up on the work orders in a timely manner.Always act in the best interests of the companywith regard tominimising costs.To be cost conscious with the use of office supplies, printedmaterialsand other consumables.To promote cross promotions and revenue outlets whenever possible.To ensure that Company property is maintained properly andtreated with respect at all times.Safety ResponsibilitiesTo be familiar with Ship´s Emergency plansTo be familiar with Safe Working PracticesEmergency Duties:To follow instructions on Safety Cardand to participate in Guest/Crew Lifeboat Drills as per instructions.Other safety responsibilities, as assigned, but not limited to the above.Education/Position RequirementsMinimum ofthree(3) years' experience in a hotel/ nurseryon land ortwo(2) years' experience on board a cruise ship in similar position required.Must be fluent in written and spoken English as well as German.Any additional foreign language is a plus.Excellent interpersonal and public communication skills.Must have good administrativeandexcellent organizational skills.Must have the ability toalways interact with all kind of children in a professional and friendly manner.Must possess excellent leadership skills and the ability to interact with all levels of people.Team Communication and MeetingsTo attend daily meetings with the Hotel Director and other Department Heads.To schedule andattendmeetingswith theKids Clubteam on a regular basis.Lead subordinates successfully into productive working methods by setting an example and utilising all available management tools.#J-18808-Ljbffr
