Your RoleAs the new Key Account Store Operations Specialist, reporting to the Head of Key Accounts in Portugal, you will play a pivotal role in engaging and retaining stores, improving their performance, and maximising food saved.
You will also drive collaborations with charitable organizations, ensuring surplus food can be redistributed efficiently to those in need, while supporting stores to embrace donation processes and maximize impact.
Your Key Responsibilities:Store Relationship Management: You will manage and engage key partners through phone, email, and occasional on-site visits (approximately 1 day/month). Your focus will be on building long-term relationships, understanding partner needs, and delivering tailored recommendations.Performance and Retention Optimization: You will track and analyse KPIs to proactively address challenges, identify churn risks, and highlight supply opportunities. You will implement strategies to maintain high retention rates while optimising the amount of food saved.Charity Donations Coordination:Act as a key contact for charitable organizations to develop partnerships for surplus food redistribution.Train stores on the donation process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and operational efficiency.Establish donation agreements that provide clear benefits for all stakeholders, aligning with Too Good To Go's mission.Identify and recruit new charitable partners when necessary to expand food redistribution opportunities.Data-Driven Action: By analysing store and donation performance data, you will generate insights and create actionable recommendations. You will identify ways to optimise food redistribution through donations or consumer sales.Customer and Partner Experience: You will provide an exceptional experience to stores, charitable partners, and users while representing the Too Good To Go values and tone of voice.RequirementsProven experience in Account Management or Business Development, ideally within the retail sector (supermarkets, grocery stores, convenience stores, or discount food stores).Experience working with charitable organizations, including knowledge of donation processes, benefits, and operational agreements.Strong commercial acumen and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with store stakeholders and charity partners.A data-driven mindset with the ability to extract insights, present findings clearly, and use data to drive decisions and performance improvements.Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating with internal teams to support strategies that grow key partner engagement.Proactive and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced scale-up environment.Self-starter who can manage their workload efficiently while contributing to team targets and meetings.A strong passion for sustainability and fighting food waste.
