Grafton is recruiting a Key Account Manager - German Speaker (m/f/d) to join a company that has become the worldwide leader in managing and sustaining one of society's most vital resources - the Neighbourhood Grid. Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager keen to help them achieve its Mission, Sales objectives and Customer Success.
This KAM is the person who is going to sell their DeepGrid platform and solutions to certain Distribution System Operators in a given region. You will:
Have an ongoing collaboration with Executive Board members, Customer Success, Marketing & Sales and Product Development teams, involving all disciplines from data science, software development to embedded systems engineering.
Have full responsibility and ownership of key Strategic Client Accounts, developing, implementing and executing Sales and Customer Success plans, together with Product Marketing and Product Management, to achieve highest levels of Client satisfaction and loyalty, whilst achieving ambitious sales objectives for each Client Account.
Identify Clients' problems and needs and look internally for ways of solving them, creating new business opportunities.
Execute plans to increase value delivered to the Client's Operational teams, by listening and matching Client needs with product functionality, raising user awareness, engagement and growth.
Prepare, implement and drive PoCs and Pilots and the respective solution Business Case (ROI).
Prepare, deliver, negotiate, and close technical and economic proposals for clients.
Develop, where appropriate, and manage Indirect Sales channels.
Identify new and manage existing technology and sales partnerships.
Guarantee the delivery of an excellent, differentiating product, and the respective value, to our key clients.
Key qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Key Account Management and/or B2B Sales to large accounts.
Experience in the Energy sector, preferably in a DSO, or in an OEM working with DSOs.
Competence and experience in Project Management.
Training in Management, Marketing and Sales.
MSc or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.
Fluent in English and in German, written and spoken.
