About Us:
carmine.pt is a leading Dealer to Consumer car marketplace in Portugal. We are expanding our offerings with a new Dealer to Dealer transactional marketplace, allowing dealers to buy cars to stock their businesses through car auctions. To drive this growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for sourcing, managing, and converting large accounts/dealers for both our existing and new marketplaces, while leading the new B2B Marketplace project, involving defining auction strategy and overseeing the overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in remarketing within the automotive industry and possess exceptional negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will lead the operational team for the new B2B marketplace and provide valuable feedback to improve the marketplace and overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a robust prospect list of potential large accounts and dealers;
Initiate and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals;
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure ongoing business and customer satisfaction;
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of large accounts;
Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve our offerings;
Lead the commercial development strategy for large accounts, driving growth and market penetration;
Actively lead the operational team for the new Dealer to Dealer marketplace;
Provide valuable feedback to the product team to enhance the marketplace, improve customer experience, and drive results;
Oversee the overall functioning and health of the B2B marketplace ecosystem including auction strategy and guaranteeing both quantity and quality of the listed stock;
Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance against targets.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field;
Proven commercial experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on remarketing;
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing large deals;
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead and develop commercial strategies;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Fluency in Portuguese and English;
Proactive attitude in managing the risks inherent to day-to-day activities.
