Your role:
Gather information important to financial records, including bank statements, receipts, invoices, and other financial documents and ensure that all records are accurate, organised, and easily accessible. Reviewing financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, to help management understand the company's financial position. Assist on the preparation and filing tax returns for the company as required by law. Gather employee expense reports. This may include verifying expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies, and processing payments to employees. Review and assist in the company's payroll together with our payroll provider; Ensure that the company is compliant with all tax and accounting regulations. This may include staying up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations and implementing new processes or procedures to ensure compliance. Give support on the monthly and annual accounting review; Guarantee balance sheets reconciliations; Support audits that are made to the company. We are looking for: Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Business 2+ years of experience as a Junior Accountant or similar position. Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (other languages are a plus) Good command of Microsoft Office, namely Excel, and Google Workspace Ability to work autonomously, owning the projects/activities end to end A proactive, 'let's get things done' attitude geared towards continuous improvement Ability to build strong relationships, and leverage those relationships to drive results Great communication and collaboration skills to partner and engage with multiple stakeholders What we're offering: Hybrid working model; Health Insurance; Awesome opportunity to build the fastest growing Proptech company in Europe together with smart and ambitious people from all over the world; Cool office in Bairro Alto, with 250 SQ.M., open terrace full of sun and plants; Pet-friendly - you can bring your four-legged best friend to the office;
