Blaze Information Security is seeking a motivated Project Manager to coordinate and control activities across all our client accounts. As a key player in our operations, the Project Manager will act as the main bridge between our technical teams and clients, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and delivery across multiple projects.
You will ensure that every project follows strong project management practices, overseeing the budget, timeline, resources, scope, change requests, status reports, and overall project quality. You will also play a vital role in building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders while driving continuous improvement and team performance.
Tasks
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all phases of multiple short-term, high-impact security assessments for Blaze's client accounts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment between their needs and the technical teams' deliverables.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, while overseeing scope and addressing change requests as needed.
Facilitate regular communication with clients, including kickoff calls, status updates, debriefs, and delivery of project results.
Generate clear and insightful status reports for both clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring project visibility.
Promote teamwork and alignment among internal security consultants to drive successful project execution.
Enforce adherence to Blaze's quality procedures and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement.
Interface with the sales team to manage project-related expectations and deliverables.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, with a focus on client satisfaction.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to legally work in Portugal.
Experience: Proven experience in project management within the IT sector, ideally with a focus on Information Security is desired, but no previous experience is acceptable.
Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Portuguese, written and spoken (mandatory).
Project Management Expertise: Knowledge of project management methodologies, planning, monitoring, and controlling techniques is ideal, but as stated above, no experience in the field is acceptable.
Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer orientation and the ability to articulate business value to clients.
Budgeting & Resource Management: Expertise in budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management for multiple projects.
Business Acumen: Ability to connect technical deliverables to business outcomes, providing valuable insights to clients.
Leadership Skills: High personal energy, transparency, and the ability to inspire and lead both teams and individuals.
Creativity & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and apply creative solutions to project challenges.
Continuous Improvement Advocate: Passion for quality, continuous improvement, and advocating best practices within the team.
Availability to Travel: Must be available to travel for occasional client meetings or internal workshops.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is mandatory, though we accept it in any field, it is desirable to be aligned with a relevant field, such as IT, business administration, or similar.
Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Prince2 certs, Scrum Master Certification, CAPM are extremely desirable.
