THE ROLE We are looking for a Junior Product Data Technician to join our newly formed team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of information collected through various processes. Your main responsibility will be to identify and validate identical products from different sources and carefully validate their information. You'll be tasked with identifying inconsistencies and extracting critical product details.
\n WHAT YOU'LL DOIdentify similar products across multiple sources;Verify and validate product information to ensure accuracy and completeness by cross-referencing across multiple sources;Compare product information to determine if items are the same or different, identifying variations in attributes such as name, description, and other specifications;Investigate and resolve discrepancies found during the validation process, documenting issues and communicating findings effectively to relevant stakeholders;Continually look for ways to improve data validation processes, suggesting improvements, and implementing best practices;Use the internal platform to register and monitor data quality;Register and manage data entries in Excel spreadsheets using functions and formulas;Analyse product defects and identify actions required to resolve them. WHO YOU ARE1+ years of experience in e-commerce, sales or related field a plus;Intermediate Excel skills;Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot patterns, anomalies, and inconsistencies;Ability to prioritise and multi-task without compromising on quality standards;Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy with timely follow up;Abstraction, ability to learn new things and work with new tools;Good IT and English skills.
