Our client, a global investment bank, is seeking a skilled Junior Portfolio Management profile to join their dynamic team.
About the role:
Conduct comprehensive analysis and monitoring of diverse industry sectors.
Research and track international leveraged loan and corporate bond portfolios, assessing both investment and non-investment grade positions.
Manage waiver requests and address company inquiries promptly.
Collaborate with the rating and credit departments to compile Portfolio Review presentations for both routine assessments and Impairment Committee deliberations.
Support the Execution and Origination team members by contributing to the evaluation, recommendation, and execution of Principal Finance ventures.
Undertake additional tasks and ad hoc assignments as required.
Ideal profile:
Possess a 1-4 years of experience in leveraged/corporate/acquisition finance or equivalent roles within investment or commercial banks. Candidates with backgrounds in M&A, Transaction Services, or Strategy Consulting will also be considered.
University degree from a prestigious academic institution and MBA are desired.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Proficiency in financial and accounting principles is essential.
Demonstrated understanding of credit documentation and legal frameworks related to finance.
Exhibit a proactive problem-solving approach, with strong technical and analytical capabilities. Display a self-motivated, positive attitude towards challenges.
Ability to articulate and present factual information in a structured, clear, and confident manner.
Skilled in building robust internal relationships across various departments such as ratings, credit, finance, legal, and operations. Capable of positively influencing others in a collaborative environment.
Comfortable working independently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
