Ferring is hiring a junior Finance professional in Lisbon to strengthen the Finance CoE, with focus on controlling & support activities for the global controlling team. Your day at Ferring
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. As Junior Financial Analyst this position will provide on-going support to senior controlling managers in the Finance team. Specific responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
Analysis:Contributing to the execution of analyses, simulations, profitability calculations and other forecasting activities for small business units, ensuring constant support for senior managers as regards the interpretation of data and existing gaps.
Management control:Supporting the budget and management control process consistent with company objectives and guidelines in line with the specific needs of business units and departments, by providing accurate and prompt reporting. Contribute to the correct management and adjustment of administrative and management information systems.
Reporting:Contributing to the drafting of periodic reports and final monthly accounting.
Budgeting:Contributing to the drafting, updating and review of the budget and business reviews for small business units, as regards the relevant variables, acting as guarantor in observance of scheduled deadlines, supporting company departments as internal clients.
Support tasks:Ensure purchase orders controlling and management for dedicated business units. Accountable for administrative tasks related to Travel & Expenses (T&E) and Corporate Credit Cards. Develop, maintain and optimize existing financial templates for controlling and reporting activities. Perform as backup for the senior controllers in the team.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Corporate Finance or related field.
2-3 years relevant work experience as Financial Analyst or similar.
Solid analytical capacity and understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes.
Ability to work in a matrix organization, demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Business acumen, problem-solving, customer focus and collaboration skills are essential.
Proficient/fluent in English.
Experience working with SAP and/or Navision
