ABOUT US:TUMO is a creative technologies center founded in Armenia, now present in over 10 countries. Aimed at young people aged 12 to 18, TUMO complements formal education by offering opportunities to develop skills in areas such as Music, Robotics, Animation, Game Development, Programming, Photography, Cinema, and Graphic Design. Each student follows a personalized learning path based on their progress and interests, guided by learning coaches and experts.TUMO is completely free of charge for its students, made possible by our generous donors and partners. With plans for 10 centers nationwide, discussions are underway for expansions to Porto/Matosinhos, Évora and Braga.ABOUT THE ROLE:TUMO Portugal is expanding its creative and educational influence, and with a robust countrywide communication strategy in place, each TUMO center has its dedicated team to bring this strategy to life locally. We are looking for a Junior Designer and Communication Manager to join the TUMO Coimbra team. This role is crucial in shaping how TUMO Coimbra engages with its community, ensuring our presence on digital platforms is vibrant, engaging, and aligned with our mission.As a Junior Designer and Communication Manager at TUMO Coimbra, you will be responsible for:Creating and Developing Content: Produce graphic and audiovisual content for both digital platforms—such as the website, social media channels—and physical formats. Your creative work will ensure our communication is visually appealing and resonates with our audience;Managing Social Media Calendars: Plan, schedule, and maintain a calendar of social media posts to ensure consistent and strategic content delivery across all platforms;Website Content Management: Regularly update the website with fresh, captivating content that reflects TUMO Coimbra's ongoing activities and achievements;Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns, identifying trends and opportunities to enhance engagement and reach;Event Collaboration: Work with the team to design, plan, and execute local events that promote TUMO Coimbra and its mission. Your role will be integral in ensuring these events are communicated effectively and are visually compelling;Media Preparation Support: Assist in preparing for potential public engagements, including media interviews and press releases, to ensure our messaging is consistent and impactful.WHAT YOU BRING:Educational Background: A degree in Design, Multimedia, or a related field;Digital Communication Experience: Prior contact in digital communication, including social media management and content production;Software Skills: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere, with a willingness to improve.
